Rooted in a foundation of respect and equality, we take great pride in working with, and being a part of, the LGBTQ+ community.
Our world offers an extraordinary, beautiful diversity of people, each with their own goals, hopes and dreams. Recognizing the existence of unique objectives is the first step towards effective financial planning. No two people are the same. We want to get to know you - we want to learn about who you are, what aspirations you have, and what you value in life so that your financial plan addresses who you are at the core.
The landscape of financial planning for LGBT people has evolved in recent years, most notably thanks to marriage equality laws passed in 2015. In the pre-marriage equality era, same-sex couples had no choice but to plan their financial futures through a different lens. The new, current legal framework for equality sheds light on new potential paths. Each of these paths can be examined, analyzed, compared and explored by way of a comprehensive financial plan.
Although incredible strides have been made in fighting for equality and recognition, disparity for the LGBT community still exists. Wage gaps, job insecurity and general discrimination still stifle the progress of many LGBT members. Even in the face of lingering adversity, working towards a solid financial plan can help ease financial anxiety.
Pharos Wealth Management was founded by Scott Stanley, a member and proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.
